Vitamin A Step-Up System
Environ does one thing differently from every other vitamin A brand: it makes you earn the dose. Rather than starting at a high concentration and asking the skin to cope, the range climbs in measured steps, and the skin builds tolerance on the way up. That is why Environ users tend not to go through the peeling and redness a prescription retinoid brings.
The rule is the same at every level. Use a minimum of two bottles before moving up. Each bottle lasts 10 to 12 weeks once opened, so a level takes roughly five to six months, and the full climb is a multi-year commitment rather than a season.
Youth EssentiA, the serum ladder
Vita-Peptide C-Quence Serum 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, each paired with Antioxidant Defence Creme. Level five is Vita-Peptide Intensive Serum 4 Plus with Vita-Antioxidant Defence Creme Plus.
Skin EssentiA, the moisturizer ladder
Vita-Antioxidant AVST Gel or AVST Moisturiser 1 to begin, then AVST Moisturiser 2 through 5. The gel suits skin that runs sensitive, red or reactive, and takes two to three bottles before moving up.
Where to start
Anyone new to vitamin A starts at level one, whichever ladder they choose. Anyone already using a retinoid elsewhere should still start low, because Environ concentrations are not interchangeable with other brands. If the skin flakes or tightens, hold at the current level rather than pushing on.
Best for anyone who wants retinoid results without the downtime. Ideal for skin that has reacted badly to a retinoid before.
